DOF Subsea contacted BlueSky Experiences to design and deliver a team development programme that would strengthen relationships between their UK and Norwegian teams. Being a dynamic international organisation, DOF Subsea realised that cultural differences and the way that people communicate with one another play an important part in the effectiveness of teams. The brief for this team development programme was to help maintain positive dynamics within multi-cultural teams.

BlueSky Experiences were recommended to the BG Group and asked to create a high impact and creative team away day that was unique to the client. The BG Group aspires to be the best operator in the North Sea and therefore wanted their staff to understand and share the group’s vision and strategy. The brief was to offer the staff a personal reflection on the “how” and “why” behind the company’s strategy. The BG Group is a dynamic and fast moving company and staff are used to working under pressure, therefore the team building day had to reflect this. The creative approach was a “See, Plan, Review and Do” session, whereby staff would learn by experience through an innovative series of subliminal, audio and visual activities.
