Equipment and Safety
Personal safety is of utmost importance to BlueSky Experiences and we would ask that all teams pay attention to the training tips, rules and notes on the registration form.
Equipment lists will be provided after registration
All the staff employed by the event organisers BlueSky Experiences are fully qualified and experienced for challenge activities. Appropriate medic cover will be provided at the event as a precautionary measure. All competitors must complete a medical form on the morning of the event at registration. This private information will be held in the strictest of confidence and will be destroyed at the end of the event.
Our staffing policies are quality driven and our participants to staff ratios are high. BlueSky Experiences' Technical Advisor, Stuart Johnson, has a large range of experience as a technical adviser. Stuart's experience is not only on the technical safety and race design, but he has competed in numerous urban and wilderness races. He is a fully qualified mountaineering instructor and holds the highest award attainable in mountaineering instruction within the UK, the MIC (Mountaineering Instructors Certificate).
