With another successful year for the BlueSky Challenge in 2011, we are back on Friday 25th May 2012. Join us for this action and value packed day in beautiful Perthshire, based out of our fantastic serviced conference venue at Bachilton, Methven near Perth and taking in stunning terrain in the surrounding hills and lochs. New for the 2012 event we are incorporating Quad Bikes into the action!
If you wish to have all the information in one place rather than page through the website then please download the Event Information PDF HERE.
The BlueSky Challenge is open to businesses and private teams of 4 people with two event categories; mixed or non-mixed teams. With 5-7 hours of non-stop adventure covering approx 40-50km and incorporating 5 core adventure activities: Mountain Biking, Running/Trekking, Kayaking, Orienteering and Quad Biking. We also throw in a few special activities for your team to conquer at checkpoints on route. It’s a Competition, a Challenge, a Race, and definitely an Adventure - the BlueSky Challenge will get you out and about and using more adventure equipment than any other multi-sport event in Scotland.

The course has been designed not only to test your fitness level, but your mind as well. The emphasis of the event is on teamwork, with teams travelling through all stages, competing against the clock and collecting bonuses from the different checkpoints and activities.
The team that wins will not necessarily be the first team across the finish line, as other teams might accumulate more bonuses through their prowess at the activities!
To the finish the day off we have a fantastic BBQ and refreshments following the all-important and entertaining prize giving ceremony!
In 2012, the Challenge will once again be supporting the Mark Scott Leadership for Life Award (Registered Charity No. SC025254). The Award has a real impact by helping young people discover their own talents so they can build confidence in themselves, break down barriers between each other and contribute to the communities where they live. Each individual taking part in the BlueSky Challenge will be asked to raise at least £100 for the Charity through participating in the BlueSky Challenge.
Enter your very own ‘Works Team’ today by completing the online Registration Form HERE. The Challenge is £500 + VAT for a team of 4 and includes all equipment hire (bikes, kayaks, quad bikes, special activities) venue facility use and the evening BBQ function. Private (non-corporate) teams can secure entry for £500 (with no VAT applied).
